Jesus in Pursuit: A True Story
The son of one of the leading familiies in the Christian Science movement, cornered by events, finally feels himself forced to a choice between
Mary Baker Eddy and her book and Jesus and his book — and he chooses Jesus. Self-salvation, his way of life for 40 years, has failed him. “I’m a sinner in need of a savior,” he finally admits in desperation. It’s like a scene out of Francis Thompson’s classic Christian poem, “The Hound of Heaven.”
This is my true story. It took place decades ago, but I’ve only now written it at length. The account is called Jesus in Pursuit: The Hounding of a Haughty Heart. You can read or download it as a PDF, linked here Jesus in Pursuit * Andrews * Feb 2016
